[Thailand] How to cook pork and sago dumplings (saku sai moo)
Ingredients
- 1½ tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 large brown shallots, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1.5 cm piece of ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 300 g pork mince
- 1½ tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp shaved palm sugar
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
- 50 g (⅓ cup) roasted unsalted peanuts, chopped
- 325 g sago
- Soy sauce and coriander sprigs, to serve
