  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
  • 1 tablespoon high-heat cooking oil (canola, vegetable, rice)

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
